Terms of Service / User Policy

1. This website, our technology, and our policies are under development. We reserve the right to change anything about the service without notice and for any reason. Major changes will be announced at our website's discussion forums and reflected in these policy pages.
   
   
2. You agree that you are over 13. You have provided us with a valid contact email address, or agree to regularly check our website for important notices and policy/service changes.
   
   
3. By using our Bitcollider submission utility, or using our web facilities to search for and describe individual files, you are agreeing to contribute data and metadata of various sorts to our public encyclopedia, usually associated with your chosen screen name.
   
   
4. To the extent that any such contributions are themselves copyrightable works of authorship, you grant Bitzi, or its successors or assigns, a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual (for the duration of the applicable copyright) license to reproduce, incorporate, distribute, create derivatives of, and sublicense your contributed work. (The contents of the Bitzi encyclopedia will be made available through our website, other applications, and other sites and projects in accordance with Bitzi's prevailing licensing policies.)
   
   
5. Bitzi is about providing information to others that they will find helpful. You agree to only contribute information to our websites and encyclopedia that you reasonably believe to be accurate, useful, and legal for us to redistribute. Specifically, you agree not to add to encyclopedia entries or Bitzi websites:
   (a) fraudulent, harassing, or abusive material
   (b) unrelated commercial solicitations
   (c) copyrighted source material or significant portions thereof
   (d) requests for, or offers of, assistance in performing any illegal activity
   (e) other material prohibited by applicable law
   It is of course acceptable — and encouraged — to describe and comment on external copyrighted material. We reserve the absolute right to remove any contributions from our website for any reason, and to curtail or prohibit your use of our site for intentional, careless, or repeated violation of our policies.
   
   
6. You understand and agree that there can be no guarantees whatsoever as to the accuracy or usefulness of any information on our website. You use our site at your own risk, and we make no warranties, express or implied, and accept no liabilities.
   
   
7. You agree to only access our website with standard, attended, interactive web browser software, unless you have requested and received permission for other automated high-volume access. (We will cheerfully grant such permission in most cases, as long as it will not unduly burden our main web service.)
   
   
8. Bitzi reserves the right to limit or suspend user access for serious or repeated violations of our policies, or for other activity disruptive to our service or in contravention of applicable laws.
