Bitcollider UsageSee the download page for installers and an overview of what the Bitcollider utility does.
WindowsAfter running the installer, you may invoke it on a file or files in 4 ways:
LinuxAfter installing, you should invoke the "bitcollider" executable with any files you want to report/lookup as arguments. If Bitcollider is unable to launch your default web browser to complete the lookup/submit, you can Invoked with no arguments, it will print options: Bitcollider/0.6.0 (b1020) Usage: bitcollider [options] Mac OS XCurrently, Mac OS X users must build the Bitcollider from the source tarball, and then 'bitcollider' is usable from the command line, as for Linux.(We would appreciate advice on the proper packaging of a precompiled bitcollider for easy installation and drag-and-drop use on Mac OS X.) TroubleshootingBy far the most common problem people encounter when using the Bitcollider is that after analyzing a local file, it fails to launch the default web browser for a lookup/submission.After checking or refreshing your computer's default browser settings, if Bitcollider still does not automatically submit properly, a workaround is to open the submission file manually using your browser's File -> Open (File) option . On Windows, the submission file will be in:
C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Local Settings\Temp\bitprint.htmOn Linux, the submission file will be in: /tmp/bitprint.html
