In case you guys haven't seen this; here's an excellent implementation of a catalog site for movies and other video material on the fasttrack network (www.fasttrackmovies.com).

It would be VERY useful to be able to add and manage submissions in a similar way through the bitsociety framework. That is, a column view with 5-star style ratings etc.

This would require the ability to add either bitsociety or user specified custom fields to bitprints in order to create new columns.

In fact it would be great if I could browse existing bitzi search results in a row/column

format so that I could easily compare say, versions of the same song etc.

For a short time some Bitzi search results were presented in tabular format. This was an interim measure as I changed some of the search internals. The current presentation should be familiar to anyone who has used a web search engine and allows for the comfortable display of more information for each result.

However, I agree that a tabular format would make eyeball comparisons of results easier, and would be very familar to anyone who has used filesharing software, or ls/dir for that matter.

We'll consider tabular display for future search and BitSociety enhancements. Sorry, no ETA.
