Re: Bitcollider Program Has Trojan inside according to Mcafee Antivirus   [forward as email]
FYI, the bc-setup-0.6.0.exe software is the same as it has been since 2004. It appears that recently, some antivirus signatures have begun to misidentify it as a 'trojan' as 'low risk' but 'hidden intent'.

In order to appeal to the Antivirus vendors for review, I'd need to know the exact name and version number of the software (and for McAfee, the 'engine' and 'DAT' versions) that gave the warning.

So if anyone can currently prompt this warning, I'd appreciate the complete details of the software you're using, and an inidcation of how to trigger the warning. (For example, does it occur after running a scan, or installing Bitcollider, or when running Bitcollider.)

Thanks,

- Gordon @ Bitzi
