after i download a file, i also share the same file with others on LW. i do not change the file format or the username.

but am i allowed to change/cleanup the filename in any way?

Bitzi is just great, thanks to all for the shares.

Changing filenames doesn't create any problems at 
all.  The hashes that P2P software use are only 
applied to the contents of files so filenames 
don't change any hashes and your files will still 
be identical to any other copies out there.
