add opensubtitle hash for MOVIES files

| Propositions:
1. Is bitzi alive? May I develop this project.
2. Add tag.video.oshash and tag.video.subtitleforthisfile for movies that are bigger than 10GB.
OShash is hash that use opensubtitles.org to link subtitles with movie file. Dziobas Rar Player use this hash to download subtitle for playing movie but you must have movie file before.
This will be useful. Using StrongDC+ you may test is subtitles exist to this movie version before downloading. To do this only click before downloading on ‘bitzi lookup’ and if you see tag.video.subtitleforthisfile you may check if subtitle is on www.
I write java applet that generate this hash.
http://ds6.ovh.org/naplet_colider/naplet_collider.html
3. Using oshash and XML-RPC http://code.google.com/p/subdownloader/wiki/XmlRpc_API
get IMDB.com number. Automatic downoland (or only link) from imdb thumbnail and insert it on page like opensubtitles.org. Also add link to imdb.com and description from this server.
4. Maybe add fast hash (SHA1 - first 10MB of file). I think that tag.file.first20 is to less to distinguish files.
For big files first BitColider hash first 10MB and check on site if hash exist if not hash whole file. This quicken hashing process. Also add to Bitcolider ‘bitzi lookup fast’ to fast see description on bitzi using fast hash.

| This sounds interesting... but I don't quite understand what you're proposing, and opensubtitles.org is currently not loading.
Does the existing community already use a first-10MB-hash to lookup subtitles?

| The site is up now. I noticed that Media Player Classic used this site somehow, but I presume it was using a name lookup.
It would be nice to connect subtitles in this way. I do tend to prefer the subtitled versions to the dubbed ones because emotions come through much better in the original language.

| I am owner/coder of opensubtitles.org site. I know your site, and idea behind it, it is really nice (I have similar idea like your site, but little bit different, but no time to realize it...).
Anyway, support for opensubtitles hash should be really useful for everybody. I know hash is not perfect, but I take it from Media Player Classic for certain purposes, I explained that in forum.
Look at sources:
http://trac.opensubtitles.org/projects/opensubtitles/wiki/HashSourceCodes
Let us know. Also my website is sometimes down, coz of making stats, or just some problem with connection to database, handling more than 5000 active users online is not so fun, but you must know that...
thanks.

| Yes. Original C code from:
http://trac.opensubtitles.org/projects/opensubtitles/wiki/HashSourceCodes
author is Gabest. It release it in Media Player Classic. It is on GPL license.
If you want I can implement it in C Bitcollider.

| I implement os hash on public domain, because I see that you like this license.
Implementation Opensubtitles hash in bitcollider
http://ds6.ovh.org/lib.main.c.zip
Only copy main.c to bitcolider0.0.6/lib/main.c and compile. A don’t generate diff but mark differences (ctrl+f) and search "turbos".
Please add to database this tag:
tag.video.oshash
tag.video.subtitleforthisfile
Do you do it?
