Should I as a gnet vendor submit every file scanned and hashed to bitzi? Do other vedors submit all their files to bitzi? (lime, shareaza, freeamp?...)

Clients should submit metadata to Bitzi. It isn't possible yet. I'm rewriting the submission handling code to handle more volume (and throttle when it can't) as well as providing responses that programs can use (XML).

Well, we currently have one guy going door to door at college dorms asking likely filemongers to run 'bitcollider -p' on each of their files one at a time and input the data into the website in exchange for a access to a huge free scholarship database. Everyone qualifies. It's going great, but just in case I'm doing the rewrite above, and we will accept non-manual inputs from programs.

I think the Bitzi website whould have a member directory, to list bitprints, tags, ratings as well as people they have recruited to Bitzi and have an overall rating. Aditionally, perhaps they could have karma from forums and ratings from other members.

This could encourage more involvement.

A friendly URL like http://www.bitzi.com/join.php?reff=Anenga would be nice, where $reff is the person who you are being reffered by.

If a person joins and becomes active (submits tags etc.) your karma can improve or you can get more points or whatever.

We already have something a little like the $reff suggestion; see Link To Us for details. That is, you can append to any Bitzi URL a query-variable like:

?ref=[username]

...and people who register after entering through such links get associated with the supplied [username]. Right now, the tallies of who has sent the most registrants aren't published, but we can do that.

As for other karma systems, we try to give credit to top contributors in terms of files/tags(info)/ratings, via the rankings at:

http://bitzi.com/stat/bitizen_comp
and
http://bitzi.com/stat/bitizen

...but we'd like to make several tiers of "top bitizen" activity even more prominent, for example by titles and icons near usernames wherever they appear.
