effective searching   [forward as email]
Any tips on how to search for files effectively?

Consider this example:

Harry.Potter.and.The.Goblet.Of.Fire[2005]DvDrip[Eng]-aXXo.avi

hotlist: add or deletevideo/x-msvideo (XVID)

943,620,096 bytes (899.9 MB)

I can locate this file by ed2k hash search:

|d0c17e3e6ec5d2d94e7bf73cf056fb72|

and the result is this:

http://bitzi.com/lookup/PH3LO2DSDR7Y5JISP2XDZ5VIFVCWLFOE

However, the title search does not find this record.

I tried: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Harry Potter Goblet Fire

Harry.Potter.and.The.Goblet.Of.Fire[2005]DvDrip[Eng]-aXXo.avi

and the 899.9 MB avi file is not on the search result list.

How does it work exactly?...

I will be greatful for any tips on that.

Best,

aiks

I see what you mean aiks, if you type in Harry Potter phoenix you'll find the file. It could be because, as one bitizen noted, the file had been renamed. But if the proper title is listed as the link and also is on the top of the linked page I also wonder why a search for Harry Potter Goblet doesn't show the link. Hey Bitzi.com admin(s) why is this happening?

Unfortunately our built-in site search lags and sometimes misses per-ticket updates.

Note that if you use the external search (either Yahoo or Google, from http://bitzi.com/search), the 'PH3L...' example summary you mention is a top hit. So I would suggest that as a workaround.
