Re: help on enabling crc32 and md5 on windows   [forward as email]
I just installed bitcollider on a new machine. I wanted to enable crc32 and md5 hashes, and didn't have access to my other machine. I spent about 25 minutes looking for the exact registry setting required. Now that is considering I _knew_ of the existence of this registry setting - just imagine how it is for someone that doesn't even know that you need to use a registry setting???

(part of the reason this was so hard to find was because the subject line says "md6" not "md5")

You know it would really be useful if the information on enabling crc32 and md5 would be included in the documentation somewhere. Since it appears that the Bitzi people don't want most people using this setting, I guess I wouldn't mind it if it was buried in an appendix where only "experienced" users would find it and use it.
