Bitcollider is skipping files when trying to submit.

| Bitcollider is just skipping files, even when I browse to the file. The file I am trying to report has a trojan (Sorenson Squeeze 4.5.3 Enterprise + KeyGen.exe, Trojan horse Dropper.Generic.DZD, 228KB). It is also a corrupted file. I only downloaded it so that I could report it, since Bitzi doesn't have it listed in the database. How can I warn others about this file if Bitcollider will not report it? If it skips files, doesn't it defeat the purpose of Bitzi? Does anyone have any idea how to submit without Bitcollider? Working on Windows 2000, with Bitcollider/0.6.0 (b1020)

| Is your antivirus stopping bitcollider from even reading the file? That would do it.

| I've done the same thing that you are trying to do, pcug. As erakun is indicating, your anti-virus software is blocking access to the file. You'll need to temporarily stop your Virus checker - the danger in doing that is if you accidentally double-click the file and run it (oops!). To prevent myself from accidentally running the file, I add ".virus" (or ".Trojan", ".Worm", etc.) to the end of the filename. Rename the file BEFORE stopping your virus checker!!! That way even if you accidentally double-click the file, it won't be executed.
