| Is this just happening today? Or has it always happened? For some reason, in the last 24 hours, everytime I do a Bitzi search on files that I am 100% POSITIVE have been reported, everything is coming up "Unknown Bitprint". It's weird. I'm thinking Bitzi is having site problems within the past few days.

| I'm having the exact same problem when trying to report blue prints. Guessing it's the old GITW problem :-(

| I came in to report the same, saw this and the accompanying posts, & thought "good! I don't have to find some problem on my computer which is causing this." Then I looked at the date : ( This morning, after a fresh download of Bitzi, I tried to check some new files. I watched the bars run across the "current files" box, and saw the "files being processed" text add the #1. That's it. Nothing else happened. Ever. I tried another file and again watched bars run. "Files being processed" never changed from 1. Nothing happened. I opened my browser & repeated with the original file. Nothing. I remembered my firewall. McAfee gave Bitzi the run of the place & I tried again with the original file. Nothing. Earlier today, pre-freshly downloaded Bitzi, I checked some funny looking file results w/ the right-click Bitzi lookup. This worked! The files were brimming with adware. So, Bitzi app worked for me as part of another software program, but the downloaded Bitzi barely blinks when its on my pc. I can get other people's reported results but can't check out files and make reports. This same thing happened a long time ago, when I first downloaded Bitzi. It never did anything more than it did today, and I wound up uninstalling it. Anyone have an idea as to what's up? os = winxp pro, no sp2, with dsl

| Every time I access the website to check on a file it tells me that the "server is busy" and "retry in 10 secs". This has been the case for 2 days now and I am in South East Asia. Is anyone else having the same problem BTW Same thing with the Bearshare forums, they are closed down, anyone else noticed this too. Is it a concerted effort to prevent us using the service ?? DM

| At least it goes *somewhere*. I've tried repeatedly since the last time I've posted. I can drop a file into/browse & select a file, drop it into Bitzi, see the "1 file processed" notation. Then Bitzi rolls over and plays dead. Nothing else happens. Still. It can't always be a bad time to process files/bad day for Bitzi. It just isn't working at all. Never has. And it isn't black-market Bitzi either. I downloaded it from this site. Nothing wrong with my computer. It's been Virus-scanned by both Norton & McAfee, malware scanned by Ad-Aware SE pro, checked for registry errors, checked for system errors, trojans, you name it. So why isn't Bitzi doing anything at all?

| We've been working on server responsiveness and 'too busy' issues the last few days -- it should be somewhat improved now, though some of the interim steps may have caused even more 'server busy' messages.
Right now, bitcollider-submits are working for me.
Note that sometimes submissions can be accepted, but then you get a 'server busy' when sent to see the new/updated ticket page.
sam8988378, when you say "Bitzi rolls over and plays dead", what do you mean -- do you see any error message or browser activity?
If this is the same problem as you mentioned in this thread, were you able to find the 'bitprint.htm' file I'd asked about?
