Tag suggestion: Related Files

| It occurred to me the other day that it would be nice to have a tag allowing people to specify that a particular file was one part of a set. For example, an ISO image from a multi-CD package, or one part of a multi-file MPEG movie. This function might also be used to identify a set of tracks that constitute an audio album. Would this be a feasible thing to add?

| The problem is you have to identify the set. For audio albums, there's a "track number" field in the "audio track" tag. We don't have any tools to enable this right now, but we could use the artist and album fields of the audio track tag to identify the set (album) and the track number field to order the files that comprise the set.
If you have suggestions analogous to "audio track" for multi-CD packages or multi-file MPEGs, or more generally applicable to multi-file sets, please share. Suggested tag names(s) with suggested fields and datatypes would be most welcome.
Discussion of other approaches also welcome.

| I suppose you could also add an "Objective Description" tag to both halves of the file, and have the tag in the first half point to the second half of the file, and in the second half have it point to the first half. Or for songs on an album, put all the songs in a list and attach the list as a tag to each of the songs. Slightly kludgy, but it's one way of going about it.
