Gordon Mohr,
Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Gordon has been creating innovative applications for the web since 1995.
He currently serves as technical lead for the
Internet Archive's
new web projects, including the open-source web crawler
Heritrix.
Prior to founding Bitzi, Gordon held the CTO position at Activerse, an
Austin-based instant-messaging startup acquired by CMGI in 1999.
There, Gordon was lead architect for Ding, an extensible all-Java
peer-to-peer real-time communication and collaboration platform.
Previously, Gordon helped create VisualWave, an early object-oriented
web application server and development environment, at Sunnyvale-based
ParcPlace Systems. Gordon has a BA from the University of California
at Berkeley with a double major in Computer Science and Economics.
Mike Linksvayer,
Founder & Chief Architect,

Mike is currently the Chief Technology Officer for
Creative Commons.
Before founding Bitzi, Mike developed an advanced framework for Internet
billing applications at Avolent, where as the first engineering employee
he helped grow the
company from a small web consulting firm into the dominant provider of
Internet billing software to large billers and biller service providers.
Previously, as a web engineer and consultant, Mike led the development
of dozens of web applications. Before then, he evangelized the Internet
and worked on early broadband content projects at two multimedia startups.
Mike has a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign.
Joe Newman,
Founder & Director of Operations & Finance,

Joe is currently pursuing a law degree at the
University of San Francisco School
of Law.
Joe has management, marketing and strategic development experience
across multiple entrepreneurial ventures. Most recently, Joe worked
with a leading economic litigation services firm, performing detailed
business and financial analyses for a diverse set of clients.
Previously, Joe held management positions with Kaplan Education, where
he created successful novel marketing programs, and at an advertising
specialty startup, where he helped guide the company through heavy
growth periods. Joe holds a BS degree in Business Administration from
the University of California at Berkeley.
Robert Kaye,
Mayhem & Chaos Coordinator,

Robert is a veteran leader of the MP3 and open-source communities, who
currently leads the MusicBrainz
community music metadatabase project and does freelance software contracting.
Before helping launch Bitzi in 2001, Robert managed the distributed teams
behind open-source music projects FreeAmp (now known as Zinf) and MusicBrainz,
with the support of Internet-music startup EMusic. Previously, Robert
created Obsequieum, the first network-based streaming MP3 jukebox, and
served as an engineering manager at Xing Technology. Robert holds a BS
degree in Computer Engineering from the California Polytechnic State
University, San Luis Obispo.

Jeff Ubois
Jeff Ubois has over fifteen years' experience in the Internet and computing
industry. In 1998, he co-founded Disappearing Inc. (now known as Omniva
Policy Systems), which provides software that allows users to write email
messages in a digital version of disappearing ink. The company has raised
more than $20 million from Kleiner Perkins, JP Morgan, and a number of other
investors. Prior to Disappearing Inc., he worked as a contractor for
Internet2, Alexa Internet, Sun, Oracle, Cisco, Stratacom, and Viant.
Jeff is also the author of over 1000 articles for business and trade
publications, including Internet World, Upside, Information Week, the Economist
Intelligence Unit, CFO, Digital Media, Macweek, Asiaweek, ENT, Midrange
Systems, Wired, the New York Times Syndicate, Asiamoney, The Japan Times
Weekly, .inc, Technology Access, Computer Security News, Federal Computer
Week, Bloomberg Business News, and others.
Carl Wescott
Carl Wescott is CTO & VP of Engineering for CriticalArc Technologies, Inc.,
a provider of enterprise supply chain software to the hospitality industry
that has raised $41 million of capital. Prior to CriticalArc, Carl worked
with many startups in the Silicon Valley region. During the past decade, he
has designed and implemented numerous mission-critical systems and Internet
applications. His areas of expertise include architecture of Internet and
e-commerce applications, security/cryptography, and optimization of systems
and network performance
Carl is currently on the board of advisors of Silicon Summit Technologies,
on the technical advisory board of ChainCast Networks, Zoom Systems, and
Acappella Technology, and is a founding member of the Bay Area CTO Forum.
Carl earned a Bachelor's degree in Symbolic Systems from Stanford
University, a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the
University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC), and completed doctoral work
in computer science at UCSC.
Brian Zisk
Brian Zisk is a serial entrepreneur focusing on music, open source, and
distribution technologies. He is a founder and the Technologies Director
of the Future of Music Coalition which holds the annual Future of Music
Policy Summit in Washington D.C, USA. Brian is also the president of Buzz
Makers. Previously, Brian co-founded the Green Witch Internet Radio, a
pioneer in open source streaming media, and was Vice President of Marketing
and Business Development before the company was acquired by CMGI in early
2000. Brian was named one of the Hottest 25 People in streaming media by
Streaming Magazine.
Brian is on the board of advisors of Bitzi, Gotuit Media, Angry Coffee,
and other technology companies, hosts The Well's San Francisco and Tickets
conferences, and writes for various publications. He is active in many
influential computer-mediated forums, is quoted extensively in the press,
appears on many panels and at industry events, and is an expert at frenzy
whipping, brand awareness, and creating new business models. Brian holds
a degree in International Business and Economics from the New York
University School of Business, and is engaged to entertainment attorney,
Shoshana Samole, Esq.
